So Saith The Lord

The Words of Thy Mouth ...

Words are powerful when released out of your mouth because they carry spiritual forces.

Jesus said it this way:
"…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life".
John 6:63

I think sometimes we miss what He said. “There is spirit life in the words that I speak.” That’s why it is important for us to agree with God, and to say what God says.

When we talk about “confession”, that is actually what we are talking about: agreeing with God. When we mention confession, most people think we are referring to confessing our sins. If we sin, we should confess our sins to God. But here we are talking about agreeing with God. That is the confession of God’s Word.

Words carry spiritual forces. Words transmit fear; words transmit supernatural power, words transmit faith. Words transmit your image to others. God’s Word transmits God’s image – the devil’s word transmits the devil’s image.

For example;

If I wanted to give someone an image of my car, I would start describing it. Every word I speak would transmit a clearer image of that car. Inside of me right now I can see that car mentally. I can walk around it. That is a mental image. I can describe it in such detail that you could recognize it when you see it, even though you have never seen it with your natural eye. My words produce an image of that car inside you. I transmit to you the image I have with words.

Yes indeed! Words are powerful transmitters.

Remember Paul said in Romans 10:17:
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Today you can have an image inside of you. You may even have the Word of God for it. The Spirit of God may be moving concerning the very thing you have an image of, but until you release that image through faith-filled words, very little will happen to bring that into being. You must speak that image. You must give voice to it. You give substance to that image by releasing your faith in words.

Confess abundance in the face of apparent lack.

Text taken from Mark 11:23. (read it and read it often)

The Word of the Lord came unto me and spoke one of the most profound statements I have ever heard. It was simple, but then Jesus never made anything hard to understand. It is so simple that it makes me feel almost foolish, but it has changed my life. It will change yours if you receive it as I did.

Let’s put it in the context of which He spoke.

Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

As I was reading from this text, Jesus spoke to my heart and said to me, “I have told my people they can have WHAT THEY SAY, and they are SAYING WHAT THEY HAVE.”

That is a very simple truth, but oh how profound and far reaching. For as long as you say what you have, you will have what you say, then you, again say what you have, and it will produce no more than what you say. You can see that you have set a spiritual law in motion that will confine you to the very position or circumstance you are in when you set that law in motion. It is an age old problem of not looking beyond what you can see with the physical eye.

A correct application of this spiritual law will change even the most impossible situation. But, to incorrectly apply these laws will hold you in bondage, and cause the circumstance to grow worse.

Every faith principle, and every spiritual law that God set forth in His Word was for your benefit. It was designed to put you over in life.

Learn to Release Your Faith in Words

You can have what you say if you learn to release faith from the heart in your words. Jesus said, “… "as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” (Matthew 8:13)

He didn’t say it would only work if you believed right. Whether you believe right, or wrong, it is still the law. “… God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)

The spiritual law is based on the same basic principle of seed-time harvest. The words you speak are seeds that produce aſter their kind. Just as sure as they are planted, you can be equally sure a harvest will follow. Faith talks. When faith talks, it talks faith, not fear and unbelief.

The Treasures of the Heart Cannot be Hidden, But are Manifest Through Words

Learn to take the Words of Jesus personally. In Mark 11:23, Jesus tells you that you can have what you say if what you say comes from faith in your heart.
What would happen if Jesus walked down the aisles of your church, laid His hands on the people, and said, “It will come to pass that aſter I have laid my hands on each one of you, everything you say will happen just as you say it”?

Half the congregation would jump up and say, “Whoo Hoo Hoo! Alrighty then!" and the other half would say "Well crap"

The "well, crap" crowd has allowed the enemy to program their minds until instead of resisting him, they have sort of buddied up with him, and begun to talk his language. They know that years of speaking negative words will surely effect the outcome.

While the "whoo hoo hoo" crowd has become accustomed to speaking God's Word.

Train Yourself to Speak God’s Word

Let us train ourselves to speak God’s Word. Ephesians 5:1 tells us,
“be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children….”

The word, “followers” in Greek means to imitate. We are to imitate God as a child does his father. If a child imitates his father, he will walk like him, talk like him; and patterns his every move aſter him. We should do no less aſter our Father, God.

WHOSE WORDS WILL YOU ESTABLISH ON EARTH?

When you study the life of Jesus you find several important facts that caused Him to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. I will list a few.

1. He spent much time in prayer, but He never prayed the problem; He prayed the answer. What God said is the answer.

2. He spoke accurately, never crooked speech. His conversation always consisted of what God said.

3. He always spoke the end results, not the problem. Never did He confess present circumstances. He spoke the desired results.

4. He used the written Word to defeat Satan.

THE WORD OF GOD CONCEIVED IN THE HEART, FORMED BY THE TONGUE, AND SPOKEN OUT OF THE MOUTH IS POWER!

Christianity is called the great confession, but most Christians who are defeated in life are defeated because they believe and confess the wrong things. They have spoken the words of the enemy. And those words hold them in bondage.

Proverbs 6:2 says,
“... Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth.”

Faith filled words will put you over. Fear filled words will defeat you. Words are the most powerful thing in the universe.

Man is a spirit being, very capable of operating on the same level of faith as God.

We read in Mark 9:23,
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

Matthew 17: 20 says,
And Jesus said unto them, ... for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Mark 11:23 says, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Spiritual Law

This is not theory. It is fact. It is a spiritual law. It works every time it is applied correctly. This is a SPIRITUAL LAW. God never does anything without saying it first. God is a faith God. God released His faith in Words.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God .” (Mark 11:22)

A more literal translation of the above verse says “Have the God kind of faith, or faith of God.”

Ephesians 5:1 literally tells us to be imitators of God as children imitate their parents. To imitate God, you must talk like Him and act like Him. He would not ask you to do something you are not capable of doing.

Jesus operated in the faith principles of Mark 11:23 and Matthew 17:20 while He was on earth. He spoke to the wind and sea. He spoke to demons. He spoke to the fig tree. He even spoke to dead men. The wind, sea, tree, demons, and even the dead were obedient to what He said. He operated in the God kind of faith.

God is a faith God. God released His faith in Words. Jesus was imitating His Father and getting the same results as His Father.

In John 14:12 Jesus said, “…He that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do also; and greater… .”

These principles of faith are based on spiritual laws. They work for whosoever will apply these laws. You set them in motion by the words of your mouth.
Do you really want all the negative things you have been confessing to come to pass?

Are you believing for those things?

If Jesus came to you personally and said, “from this day forward it will come to pass, that everything you say will happen exactly as you say it;” would that change your vocabulary? I believe it would.

Binding and Loosing

In Matthew 16:19 Jesus said, “I give you the keys of the kingdom, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (NKJV)

Psalm 119:89 tells us, “For ever O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”

Now, it is up to you. What are you going to say about it?

God will not alter what He has said. “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” (Psalm 89:34)

Whose words will you establish on earth?

The power of binding and loosing is on earth.

Spoken Words

“I have told my people they can have WHAT THEY SAY, and they are SAYING WHAT THEY HAVE”. saith the Lord.

Spoken words program your spirit (heart) either to success or defeat. Words are containers. They carry faith, or fear, and they produce after their kind.

“So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of  God .” (Romans 10:17)

Faith comes more quickly when you hear yourself quoting, speaking, and saying the things God said. You will more readily receive God’s Word into your spirit by hearing yourself say it than if you hear someone else say it.

Live in the Authority of the Word

The Spirit of God spoke to me concerning confessing the Word of God aloud; where you can hear yourself saying it. And it works, thank God.

My Word is not void of power. My people are void of speech.”

The body of Christ must begin to live in the authority of the Word. For God’s Word is power. That Power is produced by the heart, formed by the tongue, and released out of the mouth in word form.

The Word of the Lord came unto me saying:

“If men would believe me, long prayers are not necessary. Just speaking the Word will bring what you desire. My power is given to man in Word form. I have ceased for a time from my work and have given man the book of MY POWER . That power is STILL IN MY WORD.

For it to be effective, man must speak it in faith. Jesus spoke it when He was on earth and as it worked then so shall it work now. But it must be spoken by the physical body. Man must rise up and have dominion over the power of evil by my Words.

It is my greatest desire that my people create a better life by the spoken Word. For my Word has not lost its power just because it has been spoken once. It is still equally as powerful today as when I said, ‘Let there be light.’

But for my Word to be effective, men must speak it, and that power will come forth performing that which is spoken in faith.

They hear the world and speak as the world speaks. By observing circumstances they have lost sight of my Word. They even speak that which the enemy says, and they destroy their own inheritance by corrupt communication of fear and unbelief. No Word of Mine is void of power, only powerless when it is unspoken.

As there is power in my Spoken Word, so is there evil power present in the words of the enemy to affect and oppress everyone that speaks them. Be not conformed, but be transformed into the body of faith, knowing that my Words are alive ever more. Believe, speak, and obtain that your joy may be full  and you shall be complete in Me.”

These truths changed my life. I will never be the same. And neither will you; if you have but an ounce of Faith.

WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

Bible Word Study
WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

If you and I are going to be totally unselfish and truly Scriptural, we must desire, pray and expect to receive from God not only enough to meet our own needs, but plenty left over so that we can give joyfully to help somebody else.

Luke 6:38
What does this scripture say about sowing and reaping? How does it apply to giving?

Isaiah 1:19
What is the result of obeying God's principles?

Psalm 34:8-10
What happens when you put your total trust in the Lord?

Blessed To Be A Blessing
An Instrument Of Divine Favor

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" Luke 6:38

A LIFE OF GIVING

The expression "to be a blessing" actually means to be an instrument of God's divine favor. It is such a blessing to be chosen to administer God's divine favor in the life of another person, preventing misfortune or catastrophe. There is no greater joy known to man.

The problem is that so many people do not understand this principle. They think they should be blessed of God for their own sake alone, just to get their own needs met. They are only too happy to hear that they will have plenty left over - but for the wrong reason; they think it is to be used to satisfy their own selfish desires.

We are not put on this earth to see how much we can acquire or accumulate during our life span, we are put on this earth to see how much of our life we can give away. Just as Jesus gave His life at the cross for us and became a blessing to us, we should also give our lives to those around us.

The Truth About Prosperity

In and through Christ, God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places (Eph. 1:3). Through His covenant, He has placed everything that He is, everything that He has and everything that He can do at our disposal.

The Root of Evil?

First Timothy 6:10 tells us that..."the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Notice that it doesn't say money is the root of all evil. It says that the "love" of money is the bringer of sorrow and the root of all evil. Make your personal commitment right now that you are going to put God's Word first in your life and reject the traditions of men. It is not God holding back your money. Poverty and lack are a result of the curse, but Jesus came and set us free.

A Means to an End

Money certainly has its place in our lives; it is a tool, a means to an end. True prosperity is the ability to use God's ability and power to meet the needs of mankind; regardless of what those needs may be. There are many, many Christians who are doing a lot of good for the Kingdom of God, and in this world because they have the financial ability to do it.

How can you be a blessing unless you are blessed? Now is the time to dump any poverty attitudes you may have about money and embrace the truth of God's prosperity plan for your life (Prov. 10:22).

Thoughts To Ponder On

Renew your mind to God's Word concerning prosperity. Remain before God with a clean heart so He can show you the mystery of sowing and reaping. Refuse to allow a poverty mentality to choke out the great commission to, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature" Matt. 28:19

Don't settle for living under the curse of poverty. You've been redeemed from that curse of the Law by the blood of Jesus Christ! Stand on God's Word and claim the blessing of Abraham that is yours in Christ. Believe God for a full supply in every area of your life, be blessed to be a blessing!

WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

Bible Word Study
WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

God is no respecter of persons, but He does look on the heart of man. He sees past the color of your skin and the texture of your hair. He doesn't care if you speak English or Japanese, or if you're a doctor or a laborer. In fact, God only sees two types of people; the saved and unsaved and His desire is for all come to Him, regardless of race.

Overcoming Prejudice
Seeing Others Through God's Eyes

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28

Called To Build Bridges

Prejudice is not a new thing. Since the day Christopher Columbus set foot in the New World and enslaved the natives living on the land all the way to the Holocaust, people of all ethnic backgrounds have faced prejudice and racism over the centuries and still do so today. Prejudice isn't just about denominations and color. There's prejudice in the Church over the clothes we wear, the length of our hair, about what one person considers sin.

Think about prejudice for a moment. Prejudice always divides. Whenever you see division, you can always trace it back to opinion, speculation and prejudice. The end product is always division never unity. That's why God is looking for people who will build bridges instead of burn them.

We need to build bridges that span the chasm of custom, tradition, prejudice and opinions. We are called to reach people: people of different color, people who differ politically, doctrinally and economically. We are called to reach the Jews and the Arabs; to the Buddhists and the Muslims; to the Hare Krishna, and to all the nations.

Overcome With The Power Of Love

First John 5:4 says, "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world...." Overcomes what? The weapons that Satan has created to cause all kinds of mischief. Hated is a demonic weapon. Unforgiveness is a demonic weapon, and bitterness is a demonic weapon. In short; if it is negative then it is not from God. However; Love is born of God; and you literally break the power of hell in the world by walking in the public or social demonstration of love.

Dig Into God's Word

To cultivate love, you must dig into God's Word to find out His nature, and then actively employ those facets in your everyday life. When you are walking in God's love, you choose to believe the best about others and refuse to let insecurities keep you in bondage (1 John 4:8, 1 John 5:4, 1 Cor. 13:4-8).

Walk the Talk

By making a conscious effort to walk in love daily, you exhibit God's love, His forgiveness, power and willingness to become involved in our lives toward others. This love will draw them closer to Him, instead of the stereotypes promoted through the media.

It doesn't matter where we're from or what we look like, but that we are to care for each other to show love. And God rewards that. When we show love to another person, no matter what their skin color, speech, or home, God shows
up and He is glorified.

Don't Give Up!

Whatever you do, don't get frustrated and quit the mission God has given you because a few people want to remain ignorant. Focus on the big picture and continue to build yourself up in your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20). God loves every human being so much that He is saving people of all races to go all over the world to tell those who don't yet know the Good News that Jesus loves them all!

Thoughts To Ponder On

God the Creator, Who is called Elohim in the Hebrew, likes variety. He made innumerable kinds of plants and animals and rocks and snowflakes and rainbows and clouds. Every sunset is different, and every dawn.

Of course it makes sense that He made people in all kinds of sizes and shapes and colors! We are His most excellent creation, for we are made in His image. And when it comes to the color of our skin, God is color blind.

Take your eyes off of the outward appearances of others and focus on the more pressing issue of building the kingdom of God. Don't allow the enemy to distract you from winning souls because of racial differences. Be about your Father's business. Now is the time for the greatest harvest of souls this world has ever seen.

WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

Bible Word Study

WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

The Bible is not a religious book. it is the copy of a covenant between you and God, and it's sworn in blood. God is inviting you to put Him in remembrance of His Word. He is asking you to lay your case before Him and plead your covenant rights before Him using the legal precedence of His Word.

Genesis 15:10, 17-18
Why did God make this covenant with Abram? How does this relate to us?

Hebrews 9:13-14
How do we apply the blood covenant to our lives?

Ephesians 2:13
How does this verse apply to the blood covenant?

THE BLOOD COVENANT
Our Divine Connection

"But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises."
Hebrews 8:6

JOINED ETERNALLY WITH GOD

Throughout the centuries of human history, God has remained committed to lifting His people out of the limits of their own ways and into the limitlessness of His great ability. He joins Himself with His people through covenant. A covenant joins two parties together and brings the strengths and weaknesses of each other into the other's situation.

When, through simple faith, you entered the kingdom of God and the salvation of Jesus Christ, you also embraced the covenant foundation on which this kingdom operates. Through the blood covenant, you have a right to a new beginning; a fresh start in your life. It's time to stand on the promises of God and expect them to come to pass.

You have a right to every blessing because you are a covenant man or woman. You don't have to walk around ignorant of the terms of our covenant. It's about time you read the fine print in God's contract: His Word and understand what it says so that we can live the covenant life. The blood of Jesus has joined us eternally with the Most High God by His wonderful grace.

Understanding The Blood Covenant:

As the Body of Christ understands the power of covenant life with God, they will step out of weak-ness and defeat and into the victories Jesus obtained for them. Both the Old Covenant and the New were ratified in blood. Both of them are blood-sworn oaths to certain people. But there is a big difference between them.

The Old Covenant:

The Old Covenant depended upon the Israelites obedience to the laws and commands of God. The people's faith was in God - Who made those laws. This covenant gave them a hold on Him as the covenant-keeping God. The Old Covenant, first recorded in Genesis, was between Abraham and God, and sworn in the blood of animals. God told Abraham to kill specific animals and lay them out a certain way. It was God walking in the blood and passing between those animals that convinced Abraham that God was serious about fulfilling what He had promised to Abraham and his seed. Later, under Old Testament Law, a priesthood and ministry was set in motion in order to continue to sacrifice animals. Galatians 3 says it was done because of man's transgression; he (man) kept breaking the covenant.

The New Covenant:

In relation to that covenant, Jesus came and established the New Covenant. Jesus is called the Lamb of God because He was the final sacrifice under that first covenant. When His sinless blood was shed, that settled sacrificing for sins forever. Under the Old Covenant, the blood of animals could only atone for sins, or cover them up. But the blood of the Lamb of God obliterates them. When you become a believer, the blood of Jesus does not cover up your sins, it completely redeems you. Your sins are no more. His blood washes you clean. After that, when you come before God, He sees you as clean. You don't have to sacrifice an animal to get forgiveness or do anything else, for that matter.

Thoughts To Ponder On:

Under the old covenant you did what you were supposed to do and just waited for God. Under the new covenant you do what you are supposed to do, take authority yourself by the power of the Living Christ, and stand in faith without wavering.

The old covenant was established on the earth by the blood of bulls and goats. The new covenant was established in heaven and on earth forever by THE Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. The power of this covenant is no less than the power of THE Blood by which it was established.

Once you understand the blood covenant, then you will start talking covenant and walking like you have a covenant with God. God will begin to raise up whatever you need and restore to you what the enemy has taken. Then, He will go far beyond that with a new beginning for His covenant people. It will be a break out time of blessings in our life.  Are you in?

Bible Word Study - Fellowship With God

WHAT DOES THE HOLY WORD SAY?

The more you fellowship with the Father, the more you'll realize how reliable His Word is. God's Word becoming fruitful in and through you is directly linked to the maintaining of a living, rich, continuing fellowship with God. It is the Holy Spirit who quickens the Word to you.

It's God Himself, the Person and Power behind the Word, Who makes it come alive in your life.

Psalm 16:11
What are some practical ways you can practice the presence of God?

John 15:4-8
How do we abide in Him, day after day?

John 14:15-17
What is the Holy Spirit's role in fellowshipping with the Father?

Fellowshipping With The Father:
CONNECTING WITH THE HEART OF GOD

"That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full" 1 John 1:3-4

Created For Pleasure

We are called into fellowship with the Father. Why do you suppose God made man in the first place? He created man for fellowship. We were created for His pleasure. In return, fellowship, the intimacy of everyday closeness, is what gives us joy. Fellowship with the Father and the Word of God lifts us up so we can rejoice all the day long, knowing that we win in this life regardless of what is going on around us.

We've been invited to fellowship with the Most High God, His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. That's the highest honor that could ever be conferred on us! We're called to fellowship with Him, to walk with Him, to talk with Him and to discuss the things of life with Him. In fact, 2 Peter 1:4 says we're called to "participate in the divine nature".

God desires for us to spend time with Him, talk to Him, and think about Him and His Word. As we walk with God, we can have continual fellowship with Him. We can talk to Him as a loving Father and listen to our hearts as He talks to us.

Why Fellowship?

We must maintain the life of God within us. God is calling us to cultivate a relationship with Him where we fellowship with Him constantly, all day long. He not only wants us to bring our needs and desires and petitions before Him, but to live daily in union and communion with Him.

Enjoy His Friendship

We fellowship with the Father because we desire His company; because of our love for God and His love for us. We'll never truly know God's will and way for our lives or know Him for Who He really is until we learn to fellowship with Him and develop a good friendship with Him. We bless God when we give Him our friendship. We need to make our friendship with Him the most important thing in our lives.

Cultivate Your Hunger For God

When a person is hungry, the deepest part of his spirit begins to call out to God for something to fill that hunger. He might not even know what it is he is calling for, but God knows, and this cry touches the depths of His heart and causes Him to respond. The more of God we get, the more of Him we want. We can never live on past experiences. We're always needing fresh manna from heaven.

Guard Your Time

Those who do begin to discover the wonders of daily communion with God inevitably run into other difficulties; the devil, for instance. He is so frightened of the Christian who abides in God that he will go to great lengths to interfere with those times of fellowship. He will see to it that interruptions, distractions, schedule conflicts arise until it seems almost impossible to find a quiet time and place for fellowship. We must lay aside the natural things that scream for our attention and do what it takes to make our time with Him our first priority.

WORD STUDY:

Fellowship

Joy (Joyful)

Full (Fullness)

Thoughts To Ponder On

We have been united with God but this union alone is not the end of God's plan. God longs for fellowship, and fellowship becomes communion. Our pursuit for fellowship with God is what makes our union with Him vibrant and alive. We need to do whatever we have to do to spend time with God every day. If we have to get up earlier, we must do it! If we have to go to bed later, we must do it! All the answers we need are in His presence and in His Word.

Since God created us for fellowship with Him, He has planned for our lives to be full and complete when we walk closely with Him. The closer we get to Him, the more He reveals to us His plan for our lives. If we stay in fellowship with the Father and abide in His Word, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we too can know how the adversities in our lives will turn out. We can face every circumstance with joy, and endure it through to victory.
